Please note, this is my opinion, and I'm entitled to it.
/rant
IMO, the developers need to return to the days of the hologrind. Before one can 'get glowy' one should be required to master some number of elite or hybrid professions. Then visit ALL the POI's. Going into the mess that is the Sith attacks on the Village last night, I was asked basic questions by more than one player.
Actually, now that I think about it, I'll just keep on praying it stays like it is. Right now, on Siobaan, who is a BH and not glowy, I would have a tough time of it, because the ratio of 'good' to 'lousy'Jedi/Jedi Padawan is high. Sometime in the next few months, that ratio should be nicely low.
Of course, once all these wanna-be, don't-know-how-to-actually-play, oh-no-not-PvP Jedi's-to-be start getting killed, the cries for Nerf will resound loudly.

I personally miss hologrinding, however, it DID need to be changed... when the changed the jedi system, everyone and their mother was hologrinding, and was on the brink of unlocking, so the population of jedi would probably be equal to, or higher than it is now. However, the village is lacking in content.. it still has a very linear path, and isnt very fulfulling like expected. We can all says the 'ifs' and 'buts', and what we do and dont like, but in the end, its the developer's job... and if they dont deliver, its only a matter of time before they lose that job...
