Thread: Datapad Bug.....how to fix?

Hey I just got attacked and I looted the datapad from the Siths. For some reason though it sayd you must first loot this item before you can use it. I guess this is a bug. how can I fix it without destroying it and waiting for the siths again? I heard you can put it in another pack and then use it but that didnt work? Any ideas?

Hey Wes,
If you killed the sith without incap or death and still cannot read the datapad. You have a bug. The only way I know to fix this is to destroy that datapad and wait fo another sith attack.
If you did get incapped, it is not a bug. You will have to wait for the Old Man to come visit you again and get another crystal. Then wait for the sith to attack again.

No I didnt get incapped. Weird though. So I have to wait again? How long does this take>

what I have heard that the second visit does not take near as long as the first. Not to be bragging, but I got my sith visit, got a workable datapad, went to the camp, got a workable datapad, and I finished the partols at the village last night. I have been very lucky and nothing has been bugged for me.

good to hear yeah i deleted the datapad then i got attacked and got another datapad and got attacked
and now i have one that works, just coming up to the camp now trying to figure out the best plan of attack.

Yeah I got a friend to help me. I'm doing the patrols now actualyl for rifle accuracy. I hope I get it all done before the next phase change. Still good that I got it before it changed knocks 3 weeks off the grind.

Agreed. I finished the patrols last night. I also did the extra 10 patrols for the Aurilian (sp?) Banner.

lol your crazy. 10 patrols, and I nearly fell off my chair of boredom, 20 would be unbarable

ughhhh don't remind me.. I must really have one big bug because EVERYTIME (going on 8 now) I fight tweedle dee and tweedle dumb my data pad is "unreadable" or I can't make sense of the inormation on the disk.. grrrr I'm to the point where I'm HIDING fromt he sith so I don't ahve to go through the disapointment of the same message.
