Force Sensitive Archive

I recently was visited by the old man and then attacked by the sith. I looted them and used the waypoint but when i arrived at the waypoint it was blank. So i searched the forums on what to do and it said to delete the crystal and old man would revisit me. Well its been about a week and no prevail. did i screw up? or am i too impatient? what should i do?
