Grenade grinders by definition are lame leechers that want maximum xp for minimum output.

However this thread is not to flame these people but to offer an alternative way to get bonus combat xp whilst retaining the respsect of your team mates and not getting kicked/ignored/hate tells.

1 ) Firstly, Tell your team that you intend to use grenades. this is important.

2 ) Kill all mobs around the lair in traditional fashion.

3

When the first mob pops from the lair, Lob grenade.

4 ) DONT attack this mob. Wait for the next one to pop and start to attack this one. This way you are not depriving your team of much needed DMG output.

5 ) Use this method any time there is only 1 mob around the lair. If a secondmob doesnt spawn quick enough, make sure you sacrifice the bonus combat xp and kill thefirst mob.

I used this in a team and being Mbh Mcarb I was able to deal stupendous DMG and also rack up a healthy wedge of XP to take to the village. And I am proud to say I am not on any ignore lists for grenade grinding!!

I do it the same exact way, and tend not to upset people as much doing it. People who lob one grenade at the lair and quit fighting are retarded.

another good way is just to wait until all the mobs are dead then hit the empty lair. nobody will ever get pissed at you for that one.

- I support a rollback and keeping & balancing the old combat system.

Since my first post Ive tried different ways with mixed results.... But the best and least dangerous way to max combat xp is as I have posted above.

I racked up 900k rifle, 650k Pistol and a massive 450k Combat xp in about2 hours.

so thats 20166 FS xp ... 100k an hour!!!

Has to be said though that my team was nothing short of amazing. But you cant argue with results like that!!

load up on Grenades but be considerate of your team!

I hardly ever use grenades. But sometimes, when we're fighting pikets, some newb will aggro the entire mob, then I just say what the hell and toss a nade in there too.

the whole tell your group thing is the main part...im doing this while grinding commando. your idea does work and ill have to try it but ill keep doing my kamakazie and assist..2x combat xp is better than nothing really. I've been in groups where they thought it was funny what i did...watching all the mobs come at me and incapping me and all. i just feel bad if they get in the way and die because of me

Dude you are on my ignore list so there!!!!!

J/K... I usually toss a Grenade at the Empty Lair to spawn the next mob. Then I get the combat exp for the lair. It's not as fast as other ways, but it's guaranteed to never piss off your group. If you care about such things.
