Thread: mellichae solo ?

sorry but the research function is not available.
Just to know if someone has succeeded in defeating mellichae, in a one to one fight.
I'm lvl 80, all melee (master brawler, master TK, master swords, pike 0040), i could destroy the 4 crystals, all the sith, and i can pull mellichae with a pet. Is it possible to solo him ?

He can be solo'd ranged, but not so sure about melee... Even with the D from a TKM you will most likely take big damage from his Saber...

You will have some greater Problems because even with CoB on you take over 300 dmg per hit of his Saber so you have max 10 hits to wait 
unless you got the health crystal what gives you 2k health you can stand a little longer but even with that I could solo him with Master TK and Master Swordman. But with root it's a great difference then you can solo him without major Problem.

You know this is one of the questions i was wondering also . Will I be able to solo Mel? I have concluded that Yes I shoudl be able to but i will still need help because of his crystal and the cronies ....it shouldnt be too hard!

soloing the crystals and siths is not a problem. it's only mel 
. i try to gather a group i think.

I'm in the same boat, almost the same template.
I have the health buff crystal, so hopefully i don't mess up and die and lose it's effect. Besides that, i was thinking i could get a master pistoleer or someone else who could root to hold him down, then i could equip my laser rifle and get some of his health down before he breaks from the root. After that, using CoB, my best Hammer, Bacta Infusion, Armor Break (does that work on Mel?), Spices, and Critical Strike I'm hoping that i can take him down. That's the best shot I have.

After the Crystals are down just take a shot at Mel and they will all aggro you. Then burst run, and eventually they will all peel off, with Mel being the last one. Once he is isolatedm kill him, so no need to worry about his friends...!

Now if you did solo Mel and died....how does that work? Do you just go back and try again or do you have to wait for the old man again?

lol don't shoot him that's crasy
You only have to get a spot where first con is him and move to him, he has a great ligne of sight ass all the others and will come alone
Or the traditional way, take out your pet and do a attack and follow combo so he comes to you
So you have no need to run and get time your attack right

Two quick questions: Is it necessary that you are the only person that attacks Mel? And does anyone know how much health he has and CL?

Ruby Bliel certainly has to be a option, Heal with stims faster.
I watched him solo'd on Farstar. He spawned on a beach 1600m South of Coronet the guy was a rifleman and just kept lureing him out in to the water and bikeing back to land and pounding him 7-8 times, and luring him back out to water again <repeat 20 times> mission comlete

Isn't anyone having a problem with the crystals being bugged.
I can only destroy one of the green crystals and then the other will not no matter how many times I hit the dang thing. Which then makes the red crystals difficult to take down which means I can't keep up with the healing.
My only way to take him is by bringing a huge group of rifleman or Jedi'sis what I was told in order to kill them in between crystal heals.
Any suggestions other than whats above ?

To handle the crystal bug do the following:
Get someone who can tank Mellichae drag him 200m away from camp without losing aggro.
have mission holder do a quick disconnect / reconnect
This will despawn camp, but keep Mellichae there.
Once the mission holder has loaded back in proceed to kill Mellichae.
Make sure the tanker keeps aggro on Mell or he will break aggro and retreat back to camp
Make sure Mellichae does not die before mission holder loads back in
