2 days and no visit from the old man !!!

its this normal??

Yes, it is. It should take no more then 3 days though. I know 2 people where he showed up on the 3rd day.

This is what I did.....

wait 3 full days, then go to a player city and use the shuttle to go to another player city. Wait 5 minutes and he will show up.

3 days max. I heard some people get it withing hours. But 3 days max.

Very true. And since you can only do it once (hopefully), all anyone can offer is a method based on one experience, and what's that worth? Still, at least it lets people know that one way or another, the geezer WILL getcha.

Log in, hang around some non-city area for like 15 minutes, if he doesn't come, logoff, wait about 5 minutes then logon again, wait around for another 15 minutes and if he doesn't come, he will the next day. Worked for me.

The old spawn is a mystery to us all, save from those developers from SOE. I have helped countless people with FS skills, from old man to final village exit question, and the one thing that makes the old man spawn still remains completely a mystery. When I had my first old man spawn, it was just hours after I got "glowy". I pulled over on my bike, I left my computer for 5 minutes and when I got back he was there. My best in game friend had his old man visit 2.5 days after he got glowy. It seems to be either completely random OR is based on an individual character timer. No one can be sure. But I can say one truthful fact: if you are glowy when you type /checkforcestatus, then you WILL get a visit soon, especially if you've already waited 2 days. Peace out, and good luck!
