Thread: i just got 4 content Badges, and now i have the inner glow, will the old man come?

I only have 4 content badges, but I have the inner glow when I /check. It could be because I have a few profession badges, but Im wondering if the old man will come to me... Anyone know or MUST i have 5 content badges (Even though Im glowing).

dont always trust the /check thing, it can be wrong. Get a fifth just in case. Who knows, maybe by the time you read this, your character is sitting in a player city cantina all liquored up and the Old Man sitting next to you asking for favors in exchange for the crystal. If so, you are the first person that got the Old Perv visit and only having 4 content badges, at least the first I have heard of. Good luck none the less, and be patient, long grind ahead, and I dont mean with the Old Man.

according to my guide.. he could come visit you by the time you're done your 5th ... so... doesnt hurt

Either that or you have a badge you didn't realise was content, ie, killing an ancient krayt.

If I do the rebel Themepark, is there a chance I might mess something up while riding a vehicle since it says im glowing? Im wondering what I should do....

If you have the inner glow then you don't need more badges, the old man will visitafter24 hours or so. When I got the inner glow I ran a few missions, had a bit of fun and after 24 hours I sat on a hill, about 1.5k outside Bestine and about the same distance from any major npc town/city (player cities don't count). A few minutes passed while sitting on the hill and the old man showed up. The old man may show when you are on a bike, but due to lag of showing images on screen and the speed you travel on the bike you'll probably miss him. It's best to be on foot and doing ordinary missions or just wandering around, this is just to occupy your time though. If you are a low cl, sayunder 50 you will struggle to solo the next part (I won't spoil the surprise) which iscombat oriented. So make sureyou have a few friendsyou can call on to help you out.

LOL Best hope he doesn't read any of the hundreds of other posts that do spoil the surprise! 
I also got glowie with only 4 content badges and the old man came within 24 hours of that.

True, everything is so public nowadays, lol.
It maybe better to know that you'll have to kill some cl 76 sith after talking to the old man, if you are under cl 50 you'll probably die but that'll give you a bit of time to ask some friends for help
