Normally, when one uses a free branch unlock, Paemos gives you 1,325,000 FS experienceto cover the exp costs of the branch. However, during double experience week, he actually gives you double the amount, 2,650,000 FS experience.
If you still have free unlocks, be sure to use them before July 6th, as they actually give enough experience to unlock two full branches.
I had three free unlocks, and I spent weeks grinding enough experience to fill the other three, only to find out allI had to dowere three quests.

I wish I waited with this double exp week. So now I have to grind and grind some more

lmao that is one hell of a trick, i wish i still had some unlocks to try on that...but oh well

how do you know when you have unlocks?? let alone how do you get them? ive heard that you have to master "certain" professions or do certain theme parks? just thought some of you guys might know? thanx

Before pub 10 you had to grind professions to unlock Jedi. When the village was brought in some people had ground out a number of required professions but had not yet unlocked so as compensation they were given a number of free FS skill unlocks plus the xp to train them by way of compensation.
It is no longer possible to unlock FS trees this way so you will have to do it the intended way of doing the quests and grinding out the xp.
