Is there a char with a template like this, and if so, when you use grenades, how much xp are you getting? I am considering moving to this template. I am also currious why TKA or a melee prof needs to be had to get the 5500xp/per? I am a ranged char and I can get almost 5k/per and I can solo nitches on dath. I do not need to get into a group. Any info would be great.
Also with this template, can you solo giant nitches (dificulty 40)?

I had a similar template. When I started commando and then using grenades I was a Mrifleman and Mfencer. I slowly dropped fencer in favor of TKA. However, during the period after I dropped fencer but before I I got much skills in TKA, I noticed I was taking fairly significant damage while nading the lairs. For me the lack of any melee mitigation made doing lairs fairly difficult. If you going to get some TKA, id suggest you at least get melee mitgation 1.

If you have master rifles and is using the rifle when doing grenades you will get the full XP. But not if you are low level TK and using VK/unarmed. Probably becuase the XP system will not give you full XP when you are way over your level (according to the game system). I was holding a VK before (so I could benefit from the unarmed toughness and maybe gain a little unaramed XP) as novice TKA btu was gettign less XP than I got when holding my rifle.
Giant niz and almost everything else is easy to solo as Master rifleman. But without any melee mitigation you get a lot more damaged. I was before Master rifleman/Master fencer but dropped fence so I could get commando (and TK) and get much more damaged.
I would suggest trying to get melee mitigation 2 (I will when I have time to grind out some unarmed XP)
