I've been reading the guides to the quests and it seems quite a few require a group to complete because of the difficulty of the spawns. I'm a TKM/Doc but I don't really have access to people who would help me out on these quests, so would it be possible for me to handle these solo if I switched to Rifleman/Doc? Any info would help.

Depends on the one. If your skilled, Phase 3 can be soloed. As far as phase 4 goes, the attack on the village, that CANNOT be soloed. you die with a large group, u dont stand a chance alone. I suggest stay TKM or go swordsman. Im a TKM master doc, and with the right heals you can solo some things.

All I can say with Rifleman and soloing hard NPC's, etc is CONCEAL SHOT. I've never had a problem with it...except that it takes awhile to kill something with 240k HAM and Heavy armor (like the elder witch of doom!)
Now, as far as Mellichae (did I spell that right? too lazy to check), I only know what I've read, as I am still macroing throught the FS skills. Either way,I think he aggro's on Conceal Shot. Best thing for him is just geta Jedi Knight in your group and have him go to town. From my roommate's experience, the Jedi Knight just sabre threw ol' Melto death in no time!
For the FS quests, I said screw it...too much work in my opinion. I mean, you'll be dropping yourcurrent template anywaysif you'llwant to become Jedi Knight. Justdo other FS lines that are easier, like senses or crafting. Even if you're against macro use, if you look at the whole picture of going through Jedi Knight (which you can't really level with an AFK macro...unless you like being killed by Bounty Hunters all the time and going inminus-Jedi XP-land), macroing your FSskillsplays only a small part
Besides, do you really want to waste your time grinding Rifleman (when you'll most likely want to apply that time towards grinding your actual Jedi XP) just to complete some little quests and then have to drop it later anyways?

You can solo the final quest with Mallichae with conceal shot. Did it for a friend of mine and it was pretty easy....took out the crystals...took out his henchmen and then conceal shotted him.
Cheesy but it worked.

I can get Master Rifleman in 3 days max. and I got enough time to do my last 3 mission badges and switch professions before the village phase shifts. But I was wondering if a Commando with Feign would be a better combo for solo'ing since the dots are so powerfull. But then I'm ot familiar with the quests. If theres some kind of defend an NPC from several enemies it might not matter what profession you have since the NPC would get killed while I was concealing or feigning.
Another thing I was wondering if I did just go for the easier quests and get my 6 trees and start my padawan trials, could I come back later with my Jedi and do some of the other trees to get stuff like the melee defense and melee speed trees that seem necesarry and then drop the easier skills I had originally used to qualify for Padawan?

From what I have read and have been told, you can come back and do other skills. And, just like you said, unlock your 6 and get it done and over with...before they change it again, lol

Um.... If you get to jedi, the last thing you're going to want to do isgrind fs skills. Here's why:
- Jedi xp doesn't convert to fs xp.
- Jedi gain visibility on the BH terminals if they equip, unequip, or use there saber or force powers within 32m of ANY NPC, Player, Pet or Droid. So you want to lay low and forget about fighting Sith.
- Any death will give a Jedi significant xp loss, so you're not going to fight anything that doesn't contribute to your Jedi xp grind. The risk vs reward is too great.
- FS skills don't mean too much when you finally get to master a Jedi profession. For example melee speed is capped when you get to MLS.
- Jedi skill boxes cost a lot more then regular skill boxes, so you're goning tobe dropping your current skills and your Jedi is going to be a real "tweener." Until you're a Master, you're not going to be as strong as you are now. And when you are a master, the rest of yourother template will be for support only. Even if you're a MLS, you still want to keep visability low, so no fighting NPCs.
