Finished my MA quest last night, and thought a story may be nice :-)
First off, I failed the first one. I had managed to get into the compund, where 3 sith followed me in and killed me. So this was the second attempt. I managed to get a remote for a base just 3k's from the village. I got to the base, with my wife the MRiflemen. Tested the shieleds and found they were up and thought, here we go..fantastic!!!. Then, I see another person, then 2 more people, finally, 3 other people show up on the hill I am sitting on overlooking the base. Dangit, this is not good. We get into a conversation, and it turns out they do not have a remote for this base. Well, I have like 9 remotes for other bases and decide to propose a deal. They can help me and my wife get through this mission. If we succeed, I will give them all my remaining remotes. Sounds like an idea..they go for it. They were kinda pushy about the remotes, but that is understandable with all the base stealing going on.
Ok, the day before when I tried it the first time, my wife and I were able to pull the siths 1 by 1 with mind shot, and had a nice pattern going. This time, it did not work out QUITE the way I planned. Her first shot agroed 5 or 6 sith. There were 6 of us running around by that time so it did not seem that bad. WRONG!! 3 of the sith jumped me. 1 or 2 jumped the wife, and the other guys were running around doing who knows what. The wife dies first. My buddy the MSwords/Doc that had showed up went after her to rez. Meanwhile, I have 2 sith doing ranged attacks on me, and 1 in melee with me. I eventually die before the Doc can get back to me. The TKM from the other team had showed up to help, and we ended up taking 2 of the sith before I died. So I lay there for something like 5 minutes waiting to be rezzed. The Doc from the other team shows up and rez's me and runs off to heal his team members who are fighting a new wave of sith. Finally my buddy gets free and comes over to buff me. Soon as he is done the sith commander spawns and the other sith despawn. So I take off running from where I am to try and make the base. Wrong move. I get to the top of the hill and they respawn and agro me. Again, I die...1 minutes after getting my buffs...lol.
So I get rezzed once again and am getting buffed, when one of the other team start sending me /tells that I need to get the commander before he respawns. Well, I am getting buffed, and there are still way too many Sith on my radar so I tell him to wait. Here I come into a stroke of luck. Just as my last buff is being applied, the sith despawn. I hit burst run without thinking and go for broke. The whole way over the hill I had visions of respawning Sith and a bloody broken TKM body. But alas, I make the base and the tent. Someone had been nice enough to take out the gate and turrets that so far I had not been able to get too. I make it in and capture the commander as they all respawn. One of the other team comes in at this point and wants the remotes. Of course, we all know that things can still go wrong here, so I tell him he has to wait until the mission is successful. He ran off witout saying anything so I thought he was gone for good. When the sith despawn I take off with the commander, hoping that I run out the right side so as not to run headlong into the new spawn. I make it out.
As soon as I start my 3k run back I start getting targetted by everything under the sun. My buddy and my wife are doing everything they can to keep the road clear, but I am still getting hit. Finally I see the other team come in and start whacking everything in site. From then on I was home free. The real scarey moments were when I would drop off a cliff and all of a sudden there was 40 meters between me and old Cappy. But, in the end, I made it to the village...staring at my target bar on old cappy, heart pounding as I remember all the stories of peeps getting 500 meters from the village and the commander dies. Thanks go to the other team for hanging in there and making sure my way was clear, and to the help they gave before then. Thanks guys.

The commander stops following, if he's around 65 - 70 meters behind. He doesn't commit suicide untilll he's way further away. Haven't tested that, though I did the mission 3 times solo, and 3 times teamed. One of the best quests in the game lol.

I have to admit that this quest was the most interesting, aggravating, annoying, long, difficult, and complicated mission I have ever done. I'm glad it's over though.

Since you completed this maybe you can answer a quick question for me. The remote frequency disk I have, I give that to Capt. Sarguillo and he gives me a remote. That remote will tell me the name of the base its for? If I want a closer base do I have to delete that remote or can I just drop a new disk on him to get a new remote?
These may be answered already but I read many posts and couldn't find an exact answer on this....TIA!

I really enjoyed it.
I did it once with a large group of guildies who stormed the base, and once with a group of 3 who took a more subtle approach.
The most fun part, for me, was the 4 -8 kilometre hike back from the base, trying to keep the kidnapper alive at all costs while running into sith, NS rangers etc.
There should be more missions that involve things like that; not neccesarily hard base attacks, but long treks across hostile territory.
Sataki: You can hold as many remotes as you like, and can trade them all with Sarguillo. In fact, i recommend getting a few so that you have a choice of bases in case one is too far away, or in case another group is doing that base already.

Sataki,
You can actually turn in several remotes and several way points at once. I had a list of about 8 waypoints on my wp monitor on my screen. Unfotunately, only 2 remotes matched the waypoints. I got very lucky in getting a close one, and luckier still that it had not been hit yet. My advice? Turn them ALL in.
"Everybody dies. The question is, do you die doing what you enjoy?"

I say find the three closest bases first then scour the planet for the codes to one of those bases. Took me two days to get a base and shield remote and 2 hours to finish it. Might not have taken as long if my friend and I weren't the only ones doing it. We're living proof that a TKM and Master Pikeman without any other combat skills can do it without help. Some people at the village thought we wouldn't possibly be able to do it alone. These are the same people that grouped 7 or 8 other people and wonder why they lose.
