You get a waypoint when you are allowed to enter. No sense in going till then really.

ok... first things first.. am in the village .. went to see the elder and he sent me to see Paemos who then gave me 2 free branches
I trained one branch at a time like the guide stated to do.
So i have 2 braches already done for Phase 3 and 4
Now i just missed Phase 1 or its almost over so am going to concentrate on 1 branch in Phase 2and 1 in 3 and 4 giving me a total of 5 branches
I have the print out of the walk through from here and swg.stratics.com so i pretty much have a solidguide on what i have to do
but...
What i wanted to ask is this... each Phase runs for 3 weeks .. from what i see you go out and get xp from killing stuff and convert it into FS xp andthen useit on the box in what ever branch you choose to do for that Phase.
Question 1. Are the 3 weeks enough to do the entire branch ..aka.. 4 boxes .
And what happens if you only do say 3 boxes in that branch do you have to start all over next Phase or continue from where you left off
2. Would regular destroy missions be the best way to go to attain the xp needed, and is it better using a master profession to do it or a novice profession
3. How do i kick off a mission .. do i just go talk to anyone in the village.. or is it certain villagers for certain branches
ex: i want to do Melee speed in Phase 2 so who would i have to talk to, or who gives the quest to open up the branch that would alow me to do melee speed.
thanks

As has been asked on these forums many many times already, you do not need to complete the branch you unlock in the three weeks of the phase, you can get the xp for the four boxes over whatever time you want.
Getting weapon and combat xp as a master is much quicker than as a novice, so of course doing it as a master would be better.
It's certain villagers for certain branches, the elder tells you which villagers do which.

thank you so much.. and sorry about bringing up an old topic my apologies.
"you do not need to complete the branch you unlock in the three weeks of the phase, you can get the xp for the four boxes over whatever time you want"
Ok let me see if i understand this correctly.. what your saying is you unlock a certain branch when its Phase is up ex: Phase 1, 2, etc
But i dont have to complete that branch in the 3 weeks. Oncei get the xp i can complete the branch anytime.
Say am in Phase 2 and i have xp stored that i can use for a box in Phase 4 i can train that box.... or do i have to wait for Phase 4 to come back
just trying to understand how it works...
thanks

Unfortunately you chose one of the most difficult missions as your first. Read the stickies. You should plan out your Village quest strategy.

For this particular mission you have to go kill Siths and loot them. You will sometimes loot either:
a) frequency disk
b) waypoint disk
You need to take these back to the Capt. and he will convert them to something you can use. The frequency disks will convert to a remote that will take down the shields of a CERTAIN sith base. The waypoint disk gives the location to a base. Now keep in mind there are about 10 bases out there so you have to kill a lot of sith to get matching wp's and shield remotes (or find the wp's in the forum here). Its best to do with other people anyway...
Check around the forums for more descriptive information.
