Thread: Did I gimp myself Ranged (Combat Prowess) ?

In the end does it matter that much in pvp if you are missing a few extra bonus points like (+20 ranged Def) ?
Playing around with armor attachments those +20 points here and there do not matter that much.
My theory is I coulddefend my self better using a rifle while I am a Padawan. Padawan’s healing abilities seem strong from what I can tell hunting them.
So far I have
Combat Prowess:Ranged Accuracy[+12 ranged acc]
Combat Prowess:Ranged Speed[+12 ranged speed]
Combat Prowess:Ranged Speed[+12 ranged speed]
Plan on carrying a rifle as a Padawan
Imperial Master Bounty Hunter

FS skills won't make or break how your jedi is, they are just skill mods, they don't add any special attacks or anything like that. Some are more useful than others, but it isn't life or death if you choose a bad one

As a jedi you cant wear any armor. Unless you are planning to go the FOTM way with Master Defender,When I did the village Itook Ranged Def as it is helpful in defense. And since Melee BH's are a thing of the past and Ranged BH's are viable again, in my eyesit may only be +20, but every little bit helps.
