Thread: Prof. Badge Post CU?

I started my character a week before CU, so I got a wonderful respec. I went on vacation (one week), came back CU was up and running. Now heres my problem. Even after yesterdays patch, I still have the ability to respec. With that ability, I cannot get my master proffession badge. I am already master marksman, master pistoleer, and master bounty hunter. I don't really want to grind another profession after my respec wears off.
Here is my question finally: Is respec 2 or 3 weeks long? Is it possible to get glowy without a proffession badge? Will I need to grind another proffession or can I just untrain my current Master pistoleer and then retrain it with the xp I have saved up? I am currently strong with the force and have all of my content and poi badges.

You simply have to wait for your Respec to run out in a few weeks. Untill then you won't receive any profession badge. After it ends, you'll get Badges for the professions you hold master in.

Anyone know how long it's supposed to last? I've been able to respec for 3 weeks now.

This happened to me too, but it finally stopped this last Monday and I am now in the village where I unlocked my first branch last night. Sooner or later it will stop, but nobody can tell you when or why. I know that isn't a satisfactory answer, but eventually you will log in and you will get a system message telling you that your badges have been awarded I bet. Personally I am beginning to wonder if they are exerting some sort of population control on the village or something. I have talked to quite a few people this has happened to and it is mysterious and random as to when it ends etc.
