You need a group of a bout 3 othe levle 80s. make sure you get a medic . if you get incapt you have to wait for old man again. the following types of cities are safe
Big Citys not player founded
other cities such as outposts on endor and dathmomir, player founded cities, and the rebel outpost on rori and dantooine are NOT safe.
always know where you logged off and get and get people there. if you dont log off in a city you will die before you load completly

Does anyone know what the CL of the sith is? You need to take down two after the old man, and then four more to get the second data pad. How high a CL do you have to be (reasonably) to take the sith on by yourself?

The first two that attack yuo are 77 and 75. Then the other three you have to kill should be like 77, 76, and 75. To solo them... you will have to be 80. Anything lower then that and you honestly don't have the hps and what not to do them. If your not 80... just find a friend or someone who is lvl 80 and willing to help you. You shouldn't have a problem. But befor you begin your FS grinding, you will need to be 80 anyhow.
). I would say keep ignoring the old man for a while until you get some more combat levels. He seems to come often enough that you can pretty much choose when you're ready to fight them.yes dont stay on your balcony, they will get you i was in a guild hall and travelled across the roof, BANG out popped 2 sith , Bang im dead lvl44.
