I'm having this exact problem, I'll create a ticket to, hopefully they will put them outside permanently

Wow! A CSR actually fixed a problem? Wow, guess that's good news. Least there will be some way to finish the quest with a CSR's help, assuming you're lucky enough to get one.

I don't remember the exact text (I already killed the ticket)- but I made it an 'I'm Stuck' topic and I think 'my item is stuck' or 'stuck performing an action' (I forget which honestly), and the text summed up what I mentioned above as best I could- that the recursive analyzer and calibrator I needed for the quest were in the hut and giving the 'You can't see that you need to move closer' error, and that unless they were moved or fixed no one would be able to complete the quest.

Then I biked back to the Science Outpost figuring I'd hear back in another three or four days. Well by the time I got back there the CSR paged me saying he was going to help me with my items that were stuck, and when I explained the situation to him (that it was for a quest where the items were giving that error) he asked me for the WP there and teleported me back to the village.

I'd asked him if I could tell other people that he was the one that had helped me when they had trouble, and what he'd had to do to fix it and what he said about the supervisor and all that, and he said that was up to me. So, uh. Feel free to quote me (in game I'm Sahiko Jones on Radiant Server) and the CSR name I mentioned above, and what I described him doing and how that fixed it and how that broke it again and what not, if it helps. I'm not sure it will, but it probably wouldn't hurt to try anyway.

I play on Gorath and I am having the same exact problem, I put in a ticket but its getting late so I will have to see tomorrow.

However when I went inside they were bugged for me again and I told him that I'd just have to immediately file another ticket to get them put back outside to complete the quest. He said he was going to talk to his supervisor and see about getting them permanently moved outside and have a server-wide notice put out about their new location.

This was on Radiant. I hope this goes through, Mr or Mrs Supervisor if you're reading, because it's the only way we're going to be able to complete the quest with the Village huts all being bugged with this weird geography/line of sight issue. In Phase 4 if you tried to heal someone or pull a droid out in one of the huts it'd give the same error, but that's not going to stop anyone from finishing a quest like this bug is. One of each tool two feet out the dooris all we're asking!

same problem. logging out completely, shuttling away from village, going back to terminal, dropping items on the analyser, prone, sit, all have no effect. bump to get the items put outside of the tent.

I submitted an Im stuck ticket for this one and promptly had it closed by a CSR asking me to use the player topic but none of the sub topics relate. I picked one atthat seemedmost appropriateand im now sitting on my behind at the village on infinity waiting for another response.

Nice to know that my subscription is going towards a wicked gaming experience of me sitting on my ass waiting for someone to fix a stupid bug after being told Ive submitted the wrong type of ticket. Jeez.

i should add that everythign u drop in the tent u can't use..like if u put your bike there, using ROTARY dial u can't mount...says u can't see. but if u use the /mount command (typing) u can so that leads me to believe if we knew what the /typed command for using the analyzer was, we could use it that way. however, the /use command relates to a doctor's bag. anyone else have any idea on what /typed command might work for the analyzer? someone else said they tried to heal me in the tent and again couldn't see me, dropping your pet in there and ucan't use any of the rotary dial commands on him like store or feed, etc.. because u can't see him... its a line of sight problem for the entire tent i would say... and u can try every square inch of it u still can't see the items u want. so i think figuring out what the /typed command for using the analyzer is our best bet, until someone comes up with a solution...

edit: the /typed command doesn't work for the toolchest in the tent for line of sight. so seems the ONLY solution is for a csr to place one of each item (analyzer and caliprator)just outside the tent entrance until end of phase

btw, if u goto live chat they send u to launchpad chat who say...u have to wait for your ticket to come up just to save u all the trouble...

here's a question...so if u have to be online when csr's are online and the only way to get a response in a few hours of a ticket is to use im stuck, how long do u have to wait online if your ticket is under a different category? the fellow beside me said he sent in his ticket yesterday and he still hasn't gotten a response...
