Hi
I have unlocked 6 branches and grinded them all... Do I just wait now for the old man to showup and give me the Mel quest?

yeah within another 3 days the old man will show up and talk to you again...give you a wp that doesn't spawn until you are in range of it, so it gives you time to get a group together and figure out tactics, then you travel to your wp, mel spawns, you own him, and its off to the padawan trials

w00t - i am 80k away from filling all 6 branches - wish I could leave work now and get the fek on with it =p

A tip about the waiting. The old man will give you a waypoint to Mel's camp about 2400m from where you meet him. Choose your planet / spot wisely. Don't hang near a lot of housing otherwise you might have his camp's crystals spwn inside a house and that requires a csr to fix. Also avoid an area that might have a lot of wild spawns that aggro.It's difficult enought without that happening too.

i helped a few ppl with their exit quest and had similar probs..for one person it bugged about 6 times before we could destroy all the crystals..best thing to do when that happens is get the wp to respawn..either by shuttling to a diff city and back or reloggin....we were about to give up after the 6th try when boom the last crystal poofed..lol we all cheered and ran in with sabers and guns blaring...

I got the old man lastnight after work, and had a nice group. But we cantdestroy all the Force Crystals. At first we could onlydestoy 3 and the other went to 0/40k but it still healed Mell, now we can only destroy one, while the other 3 heal him. We tried using alot of DPS on him with the last crystal but, that and his regen was to much. Is there a step I am missing with this that someone could help me with.

You see?!? I told you so! rofl
Seriously, what order are you destroying the crystals in? Green heal Red crystals, Red heal Mell and Daktar. Kill Green first, then Red, then Mell and pray they actually destroy. Good Luck!!!
