Thread: What's the best strategy to use against the phase 1 Survival Siths. MBH/MC
i use a combat medic nuerotoxin from 35 m away which seperates them even if they are side by side
i do try to let them split up but it doesnt always work so i get a bit of a spanking so i heal up really fast and then i take em down 2 at a time
i have to heal heal heal sometimes but chances are if i get one down and i still have half health they are going down
since im a smuggler if it looks grim and healing power is out i can FD this is a last ditch effort to regroup and try again i wont even attempt this technique if i dont have 25% health remaining because if it fails thats either an incap or a kill shot
if you get two Root one and pull the other one back far enough that the other one cant shoot you for a while this will save you some health
but... honestly if you cant heal your kinda screwed these guys really put some damage per second out with two on me i can be down to 25% health before i have time to get one down to 50% and i have a pretty decent weapon master smuggler renegade pistol my dps is over 300 per second
i have found no specials that take them down any faster they are strong and tricky at times even at level 76 they can be tough not sure why they just are it takes time to kill them and im not sure why that is either im assuming its because of this ham increase i wouldnt know as im not pre cu i have only been playing about 2 weeks
Edit - nevermind, reading comprehension would be nice. I was talking about a different mission.

I have the same template. Yes wait for them to split as much as possible. If they all aggro your doomed. You should be able to take up to two at a time then heal before the next one or two. Specials I used to start off were Blind , the Torso Shot for a bleed, then underhand or any other knockdown shot. After these just spam criticals and they will drop like flies. You may need to reapply knockdown once in a while. It takes a while to get the hang of it. I did all 5 camps solo in a few hours of game play.
Hope that helps. ![]()

I am a Master BH and Master Carabiner and I know I am doing something wrong because I had to constantly run for dear life while doing my phase one missions. What is the best strategy for my template against these guys. I know people recomend trying to attack when they split up but what I am interested in is what specials work against these guys. I havebeen using knockdown and confusion shot and other specials from the BH tree. Is there any specific specials that works best against these guys? What weapon is best against them?
thanks
I took a break from SWG and came back about 10 days ago after the CU. The 1st mission I took when I got back was from Wip and it was the disgruntle/lost villegers. I had to locate and rescue them.
My first experience was a completejoke. I had no clue what I was doing because of the CU. I finally came up with a pretty good stratagey that worked. I'm a master BH, master pistoleer and this is was I did....
I popped some booster blue, canape(sp), and brandy for fast regen... keeping synsteak close by for quick escape(pls note I only had to do this at the beginning because I was so new to the CU I really had to relearn how to fight, after the 3rd mission I didn't need all the extra food because I was skilled enough to just select my targets use the terrain
The sith are on a patrol routes (kinda) one will always seperate from the group (usually 4 total) if you target him and attack using...Duelist stance, BH Eye Shot[blind], BH knockdown, root'em - and I default auto attacked to critical shot - keep in mind i'm in full assult armor also. Duelist stace is your BEST FRIEND - this will allow you to dodge/miss many of the siths attacks. Combine that with eye shot and the sith will have a very hard time hitting you and with the food buffs you'll regen faster than they can apply damage. If you are lucky the other Sith will not see you and will not argo... however about 50% of the time they will and now you got 2 attacking you. Same rules apply... keep duelist stance on, eye shot, KD, root'em, auto attack critical shot! Rinse, repeat, rescue villeger
I'm sure more skilled players have a simplier plan than this, but when I was a CU n00b this worked pretty well for me.
Good luck
