When do we have to get rid of our prof. I hear that jedi do not use skill points but also here that we will need to start removeing our old prof. in some point in time. Does anyone know when and how this is done?
Thanks

Wondering about this also. It'll kill me to lose Creature Handler, gotten way too attached to my pets.
But if that's the way it's gotta be...

jedi use skill points, and it depends on how many skills you get as jedi to determine how long you'll be able to keep your current profession

Here is a link to a really good Template builder that will let you see how far into Jedi you can go before you need to start REALLY sacrificing some good skills. There comes a point in Jedi where you arent a GREAT jedi yet and have lost most of your old professions capabilities. At this point, you are very vulnurable to BH attacks so you have to be on the look out.

You will eventually have to give up all non-Jedi skills - that is if you want a full templated Jedi. Sure if you want to be a Master Lightsaber/Master Bounty Hunter for example - you can be.
From then on though - if you choose this option -other Jedi skills will be limited to you. As you need 24 skill-points for FS skills, that will leave you 226 for skill-points in whatever you please, be it Jedi or not. So you don't have to give up your favourite profession, but you will have a flawed Jedi if this becomes the case.
