In my opinion, it's too short. Jedi is way too easy to achieve nowadays as many people have already pointed out. Yeah, it takes a minimum 15-22 weeks to unlock all branches andaccumulate FS XP -maybe even longer. It is certainly shorter than the holo-grinding system.

in the old days I got jedi on my 31st grinding profession

But melee is such a worthless class right now that if i want to be any kind of asset to my guild and stay melee I have to becomea jedi.

Melee is worthless????? are you insane? Melee is AWESOME, get TKM/2 other melee masteries...area taunt saves the group all the time, the pikeman area attacks DOMINATE, knock over 8 pikets in one swing...group will love you. I grinded my FS as a TKM/master swords/fencer and it was easy and groups love a melee person to keep the aggro. Just get a good weapon if you find the damage low (1000+ max damage power hammer, blade of nyenth'oris (1 hand sword), and I'm not much of an expert on pikes). Only time damage was low for me was fighting with TKM, but TKM is a defense based class so you can't expect to be hitting for 800+ every hit with an unarmed weapon.

And it was uphill both ways!! :*(

I don't mind grinding it can actually be kind of fun in a group. But the phases are just plain out gay! Who cares if everyone has a jedi? I mean, are you so selfish that you only want all the geeks with no life to actually be able to enjoy the game? I think that you should have to get more xp and get more skills to get to jedi but the devs should just drop the whole phase thing.

I agree with you at the current state of the game, PvP is just not what I call PvP.So pvping would not begreat choice while you waitout the village. The best PvP game I played was Shadowbane, that game was cruel .. very cruel and I loved it.

Well back to the point, when your done hunting for xp it can get boring, things I've done well I waited was change profs for fun, get badges and guild stuff. Although, With the hate in the community over Jedi playing the game just to be railed into it sense kind of .. not smart.This is not limited to Jedi, crafters are feeling the burn due to the changing system and quest items.

After thinking about these things you begin to wonder if things will change, the CU was a good step to those looking for more of an active role instead of using macro's to hunt, heal and wipe yourself with no risk of dieing.

Although the best fun is reading the pointless post about how ever jedi except mine should be wiped or being a jedi should be longer like 1-2 year since when you play a game it's just like marrage you have to be serious. Why do people care about people saying things about what you post? I love them, the pleasure is unlimited..mmmh
