Thread: Is my only hope to delete the crystal and wait for the old man again (sith camp problem)

3 days ago I killed the sith and looted the datapad. And to my suprise I didn't have any problems getting the waypoint (since it's bugged for so many people). I travel to the camp and nothing is there, and then the "investigate the location" waypoint disappears from my datapad. Anyways I logout and in in hopes that fixes something, but of course it doesn't.
I play off and on for the next 3 days but I travel back to Tatooine (where the camp was supposed to be) for the first time since to check a shop. I check my datapad for the waypoint and I see, and I'm not kidding here, 25 "investigate the location" waypoints in my datapad. They all have the same coords. So I think to myself, what the hell and travel there. But suprise suprise nothing is there. Now I have submitted a ticket about this and the CSR basically says "sorry, but you are effed".
Now that the waypoint has shown back up, my hopes of the 2 sith showing up for me to kill have dwindled. Is my only hope at EVER completing this to just delete the crystal and wait another week for the old man, and sith to come back? Anyone have any experience with this situation?

Same thing is happening to me. I deleted my force crystal three days ago to see if the old man would come again but he has not showed up so far. Every time I log into the game three more "investigate the location" waypoints show up. Lets hope that we do not have to delete our characters next...

No do not delete the force crystal! I hear that doing that can bug you and the old man never comes again. Instead destroy the datapad. I had a similar problem and it happened 3 times and each time i just deleted the datapad and the sith spawn and attack you within 24 hours. And i repeat do not delete the force crystal!!!!!!!!!!!

The old man will come again if you delete the force crystal. What happens after that, though, remains to be seen.

You cannot delete the datapad because you have to use it in order to get the waypoint.

i thought the sith were bugged today cause i went to the WP for the camp and nothing was there so i tryed to go to the village and couldent get in so i went back to tat to wait agine (i land at jabbas VIP yeah!). got missiles shot at me from no where and there where no ships around and they didnt do any damage then landed and had 3 Wp's to the sith camp. killed them now im on Dath getting my ass kicked on the patrol missions
