It does stack with food, but not with buffs. You can only use it once every 96 hours, and you have to be grouped to use it. The good news is, you can group with your droid ora pet, and then use it, so you don't have to be grouped with other players.

You have to be grouped to use the thing? First I've heard of that...

Maybe I am wrong about having to be grouped to use it. I though I read that somewhere, and honestly, I have always been grouped when I used it. I have about 48 hours before I can use it again, but then I will test it.

you can use it alone, but i think you can only recieve it as reward if you are grouped.

yeah i never group anymore since they nerfed solo groups no real point I have used the mind crystal about 6 times now always solo works fine.
dumbest thing SOE has done so far nerfing solo group payouts ...

I think everyone in this forum would be frickin rich with grinding missions and such..Well...We WOULD if we didn't get just 1000 credits (if you're lucky) for maybe a 20k+ mission. Tis gay, very.

Does the mind crystal you get for the grouped reward stack with food? Or can you only use it completely by itself?
