FS crafting is great because you get a ton more amazing successes which allow you to save a point or two and make your products that much better.I would strongly recommend the experimentation and the assembly line.

Ok this may be a dumb question, but I haven't been online for about 10 months. I'm going to be creating a ALT Crafter... weaps or ships... Does the FS Crafting Mastery help a decent amount??? Enough to do it that is... I'm not interested in being a Jedi, never was... just want to be a great crafter...

i'm not a crafter but i've read about it and this is what i've heard from master crafters. The crafting columns don't give more experiment points, they give more assembly so that you will have less failures. My friends that are master crafters say that at master they never have failures anyway, so they don't intend to bother with any of the force crafting.
