Thread: how do I take down the shields

we got the wp disk and frequency disk, and the wp disk, went back to the base tried to use shield degenerator think, but it says to much electrical interferance, what gives???

Take the disks back to the village and give them to the Captain. (open inventory drag and drop on the captain.) He will then give you a remote with the name of the base on it. The remote he gives you with the base name is what you will use to drop the shields.

I think I had this same problem, not entirely sure though. But all I had to do was go over to the side of the base and it worked from there.
