Just got my glow, waiting for the old man. I will have two free unlocks from the holocron daze. Are there any of the crafting quests that are buggy/tough that I should use them on?
Also, what does + to technique do for you?

Here is how I understand this:
- Technique originally was intended to reduce critical fails (kinda pointless now
), I do not know if it was/is also supposed to increase the chance of critical success or not
As for the quests, I know of no bugs, but I changed my original plans to go Master Enhanced Crafting after grinding out the first branch of the tree (apparently building Binary Load Lifters isn't too bad of a way to do this, but I never went DE so can't say for sure).
I would use the inlocks on Experimentation and Assembly (those are the 2 I have... one from an unlock) because I know those are beneficial and so I would start with them just in case you decide (as I did) that the other 2 are not worth the trouble
My plan is to go with FS Crafting exp and assembly, melee defense, ranged defense, surveying, and still not 100% decided on my 6th (may give in and grind out technique if I find there really is a benefit)
Hope that helps

If you are doing all of Crafting Mastery then I would use one of the free unlocks on the Phase 2 crafting quest and the other on Phase 3. They require the use of bunches of the special looted resources that are a pain in the rear to collect. I had bunches of people giving them to me and I still don't have enough to complete the Phase 2 quest.

That is also something to consider... those sith resources suck!! lucky to find them at less than 2000 cpu

Pretty much what he said. Expermentation and Assembly seem to be the only working crafting lines now. Expermentation and Technique are the toughest quests though (since they're nearly indentical) since they require 200 Pieces of Sith loot each to finish. But Tech is useless now since we don't crit anymore on assembly, so I'd just take Experementation and Assembly.
