Thread: Initial Old Man visit, now what?

I've talked to the old man for the first time but didn't get any waypoints or any indication on what to do next. Just got the crystal and he walked away. Do I wait for something or someone to contact/attack me?

it goes a little like this:
1) get crystal from old man
2) get attacked by 2 sith
3) kill sith and loot a datapad with a wp to a sith camp
4) go to camp and kill sith there
5) loot second datapad with wp to village
6) go to village and commence with quests
7) become all powerful jeeedaye master
either that or:
1) READ THE STICKIES!!
1) get crystal from old man
2) get attacked by 2 sith
3) kill sith and loot a datapad with a wp to a sith camp
4) go to camp and kill sith there
5) loot second datapad with wp to village
6) go to village and commence with quests
7) become all powerful jeeedaye master
either that or:
1) READ THE STICKIES!!

Took me 3 days after old man before the sith attacked me.

what another long wait? It took the old man 4 days to finally show up and now no sith. And you say it took you 3 days for the sith to show for you? Man this is getting annoying. Wanted to be a light Jedi but my patience is running thin and leadingdown the dark path! LOL!

Look no offence but if you can not take the couple of day wait now then you need to forget jedi. Just to get through the FS branches will take you 4 to 4.5 monthes. Then you have the fun jedi grind where you are weak and for a full template you will need 32.6 mil xp. That does not include losing xp for death. That I have seen take about 6 monthes to a year to complete a good template. Can go faster depending on your group of course. This long wait was with pre CU where you only went out on your own with the training LS that did 7 points of damage and you had trouble taking on a Kaduu and getting maybe 20 to 50 xp. You are going into an endurance race here. You need all the patience in the world at this point. Take a deep breath now because the buggy village will have you doing quests over again and not unlocking things. 4 monthes is if everything is perfect.
