Thread: Sith Shadows: You cannot read the information on this datapad

I would appreciate if anyone has heard of this happening - I got the force crystal from the old man, then killed the sith shadows, looted the datapad (w/ radial menu) and yet when I try to "use" the datapad, I get a sign saying "You cannot read the information on this datapad".
The exact thing has happened to me twice now (deleted first datapad to respawn the Sith shadows).
Anyone have any ideas, helpful advise or suggestions?

Yeah happened to me 9 times before i got a datapad that worked. 
Just stick with the sith attacks and you'll be fine

dont know if its true or not but supposedly you have to kill both sith before looting them in order for the disc to work properly, so dont loot one before killing the second

Do not loot the sith corpses till both are dead. If you get a "you cannot read" message destroy it and they will come again. Sometimes takes a few times to get one readable. Gets annoying but eventually you'll get one.

Still happens, even if both are dead before you loot. It's happening to a guildie, and it's a very annoying bug. CSRs are, you guessed it, useless.

Yeah, I've done three sith attacks so far and all have been the same. I loot well after each is dead and follow all proper procedures. =) I heard one guy killed them like 16 times before he got a good one. =0
How soon do they attack you after you delete the bad ones? I deleted mine and still haven't had an attack after logging in for awhile for three days. =(
