I have until I logout to respec my character.
I don't really know how FS works, but the reason I started at all was to get a 2nd character.
Do you still get one? If so when do you get it? When you get to Padawan?
Trying to decide if I should even bother.
Thanx

Yes, when you complete the Initiate Trials and become a Padawan.

You "started" to get a 2nd slot? Not sure what this means. Do you mean you started to go down the Force Sensitive path?
Basically, to get a 2nd slot, you need to become force sensitive (badges and themeparks), mostly low difficulty. Work through the village, high difficulty and at least 15 weeks. And complete the padawan trials, (i haven't gotten this far yet, but i'd say low difficulty unless you bug).
Couple other notes, in order to get your 2nd slot, you'll have to sacrifice 24 SP to FS boxes. And once you get Padawan/2nd slot, you don't have to continue down the jedi path if you don't want to. And FYI, you can't have both your jedi toon and 2nd slot toon logged in at the same time (like you can if you have two accounts).
If you're a combat intensive elite master toon and spend lots of time playing the game, then it's a goal worth persuing. You don't have to "grind", you can take your time and set it as a long term goal. That's what I was doing until the double-xp and respec came around, I couldn't resist and now I have jedi-fever
