Thread: Weird Survival Bug

I'm just curious if anybody else ran into this bug. I took the quest, went to the WP, got the second WP to the camp, now as I was heading there I went linkdead and when I came back the WP was still there, but there was no camp or prisoner. I went back to Whip, hoping he says I failed and give me another one, but he just says "You have a dude to rescue, off you go punk" or something to that effect. I went back to the WP again and still no camp there. Now, I can delete the WP from the datapad, but I'm pretty sure this won't cancel the mission and I'm stuck with a broken mission for now. Filed a ticket, of course no answer for hours, I requested the removal of all progress in this phase, thinking CSRs are pretty useless except when they can take away or delete something.
So anybody else ran into this? If you fixed it without CSR intervention, how did you do it?

Actually, deleting the waypoint from your datapad WILL cancel the mission. At least it will cancel that specific part of it. Whip kept giving me 1500+ waypoints, so I just kept deleting them till I got a nice 900m, didn't have a problem.
BTW, what's "linkdead"?

Actually I deleted the WP after posting that and Whip still doesn't give me a new mission. Linkdead means "You lost connection to SWG"
