Ok this mission took me like 3 hours of bugs before i figured out what was wrong. here's the stuff i found out .. hopefully it'll save someone the time I lost.

1. Do NOT delete any waypoints Whip gives you.

- If its a faraway mission, just go it, kill off the pirates, and leave the prisoner there ... it'll fail you the mission and whip will give you a new waypoint.

2. Do NOT turn off "player runs by default". In fact this is what was causing my pain. I turned it off and the prisoners would get stuck goin up or downhill. I turned it back on and the prisoners could go anywhere.

3. Take out the sith carefully. There's 4. Two will wonder around the camp ... take em out. The other two will stick with the prisoner. I've read other topics people put up to deal with this solo, but I brought along a friend to help with the killing.

4. Store your bike around the sith ... or they WILL kill it in one hit before they even look at you.

Finally finished this and unlocked the branch, but hope this'll benefit someone else. If you have something to add onto it please go for it.

Something else to consider would be using a master riflemans ability to conceal shot. You'll have each sith's xp down by half before the ever find you.

Finished this in 2 hours or so.

- additional tips, rifleman helps i am one was cakewalk, dont get incapped or you fail, though.

- you can go back to the prisoner and click follow option, helps if they stall out as they often do, gnerally before either climbing or going down a canyon, or at random bushes, and dont get over 25m of them, target them aswell whie talking to best measure this on the go.

On the NGE classes.

Obi-Wan: Your clones are very impressive. You must be very proud.

I really hope this new "walking" isn't considered "working as intended"....

if that's the case, then nobody will be able to finish the 'capture the sith commander' mission in phase 3 (?) as he'll never make it back to the village alive if he's walking

having to escort them is bad enough, but this slow walk back almost seems more painful than restocking vendors....

I am going to pass along my CU knowledge to help other FS beings out. The way that you get the Sith to attack you one at a time...use a pet or a droid. Have the pet attack and then immediately tell it to follow you. The Sith is now angered and will run away from his friends to your location. It's really very simple. And yes, walking all the villagers back was a pain as they did tend to stop on inclines. It was rather boring until a spider crossed my path and spooked the villager. FS baby

NOTE: When the NPC stops walking you can return to the NPC and use radial menu option to get them following again.

There is an option there (dunno if it is new post-CU) which resumes the 'following' process.

I cannot recall the exact name of the button - but I had to use it 3 times on a long mission.

It worked great for me - and although I suspect it was unnecesary I 'Conversed' again before and after selecting the other radial option.

I didn't have to cancel or fail a single mission, I did turn off running and did the slow walk back each time. *snore*

Good luck and may the force be with you.

I turned off run by default and made it ok. I had to go back and get the villagers a couple of time when they got confused by the hills but other than that it went smoothly. Just very long and very boring. Except for the Sith part..that was an adventure each time. I used different methods to beat them and got some help from a pack of friendly bolmas once

I soloed the missions so here is another hint: yellow enemies threats are ur friend. Sith used area attacks I led them to some yellows and they agrod them once the sith use thier area attacks was an awsome sight.
