Thread: The journey so far ...

Ok, I returned to SWG after 3 or 4 months. I really focues on crafting and my vendors the first time around, which made me a good chunk of coin. So when I returned I had some money to get armor and weapons. I choose TKM and finished up the quests and whatnot to get glowy - done!


The old man came almost exactly 24 hours after glowy. Gave me the crystal and then I went about my business.

Next day, same time but 24 hours later two sith thugs jump me, steal my cyrstal, and incap me... they tough, my introduction to the CU

Next day, (around 4pm, 24 hours later), old man comes back, gives me crystal #2, I say "sure, it's safe with me"

The next day, 4pm I log in, I ready my probebot (I call him 1 shot 1 kill...cause that's the number of hits it takes to kill it), I ready my Dewback and wait.... and wait... no showing buggers! Well, I head into nearest shuttleport (probot stays behind). Dewback is DEAD, out of no where, the sith thugs jump me, steal my crystal, and incap me... I'm just no match...

SO! I respec into Master Rifleman, along with TKM. I go out and test me new powers on a lvl 79 dewback, first sniping, then when he's in on me, punch, kick punch! TKO MF'er! I'm now ready!! Oh, and when I respec'd I had to go back to house to get rifle and armor, old man comes around, 12 hours early, with 3rd crystal!


So today...4pm...i log in. I'm ready, I'm tested AND proven, these guys are not getting my crystal!!


no showed! and I wait, and wait, and jump shuttles and wait...


Then I had to go to work. Well! I have 40 minutes left in my shift. Then I'm going home and logging in. It will have been 32+ hours since the old man showed his face last time.


I'll post back with the results. If I fail, I can't see soloing these two jerks. I'm NOT getting a posse (or group) together to take these guys, the force is an individual thing, it's special...


I just hope they comes tonight cause I'm tired and need sleep

UPDATE!


Ok, I got home from work and logged in. I waited , and did I mention I respec'd in Master Rifleman and picked up my trusty T21.


I'm outside of Bestine when the two show up, I waited about 20 minutes and almost gave up for the night. They showed up and got the drop on me. This time, they weren't doing the 500-600 damage, and so the fight is even! I take the first thug down (the 75) and go after the 77 dude.


He drops and I get teh datapad!! So, it's late, like 4am, and I need to get the bed, but first I'll hit the encampment and see what's up wit dat. 3 of them this time!! ouch, two wasn't bad but they did me for, about 1/3 damage. Well, what the hell, I go for it...


I take 1 down before getting inapped for the 1st time.


I run out, heal up and pull my USELESS probot (18) and head back for the other two, which I'm confident because I get the drop pn them (and I had taken 2 out weho had the drop on me)


And so they go down in a blazing of sniper fire...for fun, the last guy standing (he's hurt bad!) I put the rifle away and TKM his butt down!


And now the grind I'm on round 3 of the patrols. One not on the patrols, put away your vehicle or it's gone! I lost my swoop first, then my Ab-1. The Ab-1 was funny, I was heading back after round 2 of the patrols, saw a fellow grinder fighter, and they targeted the AB-1 right off!
