You HAVE to talk to the person giving the mission before you can search. Did you do this?

yea i spoke to the imperial in bestine the 1st time for the imperial corvette mission but couldnt search crates

so i cancelled that with him and went to jabbas to see mcbrain about neutral one. Then went to pirates on naboo and corvec on corellia. Both wouldnt let me search crate :/

I mustve been more drunk that i thought last night. didnt realise i posted this in FS forums
