Please don't flame...i can't understand what the answer is but....

I am fully aware of the 6 lines but not 24 boxes - makes sense to me. But i am not sure about the unlock then train scenario. I have done all of the first 4 quests (for enhanced reflex) now but have only had time to train the novice enhanced reflex box with almost another level one box left over. I assumed that as I had unlocked these I can train up anything in enhanced reflex at my leisure - but i am now unsure if this is the case. Can i only train in the line that I have unlocked in that phase or can i do the above.

Perhaps this makes more sense Eg-

I unlocked phase 2 vehicular control but didn't train. Can I either

a) train whenever I like (as this is now unlocked for me forever)

b) train only when this unlock comes round again (having unlocked already - so don't need to do the quest again)

c) have to unlock vehicular control all over again when it comes round and train up before the phase ends

I am asking because the main guide mentions training your first free unlockbefore gaining another free unlock. For me I didn't get ANY free unlocks so wonder if this is similar or at all relevant.

PS I am aware of the main guide 'sticky' but this point isn't clear.

Once you've unlocked any branch, and got novice completed in that "profession" you can train any of the branches you've unlocked at any time. Example: You train Novice in Enhanced Reflexes and do the quests to unlock Survival, Vehicular Control, and Melee Defense. You can now work on any of those three. You can do one box in each, then the second box, etc, or you can go all the way up one, then the next. You can take as long as you like once the branch is unlocked.

The time to train in anything is *not* gated. Meaning, yes you unlocked whatever, say Vehicular Control, so you can get the xp in that and train it at your own pace...there's no time limit.

But you *must* unlock each branch you wish to train in. Just getting novice in Enhanced Reflexes *does not* mean you can train in any of the branches therein.
