Just curious if people suffer a death penalty while grinding their first 20k and while doing the trials.

That is do you lose xp for dying before you reach padawanand afteryou have been granted initiate.

I didn't see that mentioned anywhere.

yes you loose xp during trials and initiate.

Yes, initiate is 4K Jedi xp loss. Each novice skill is 5K xp loss, assuming a death by critter, and not BH. Jedi xp loss is based on howmany skills you have in the profession.

Now is that for being killed, or for cloning? The way I understand it is you don't lose xp if you're rezzed by a doc, unless you're killed by a BH. What about if you use a Hero ring?

XP loss is for cloning unless you're killed by a BH in which case you get XP loss on DB and more loss on cloning. A rez by a Doc or using the Hero Ring will negate the cloning XP loss, but not the BH XP loss.

I heard that you cannot be hunted by a BH until you are Padawan. Is this also true?

Alright good info, thank-you. The resurrection timer is still 10 minutes is it not?

Brings up another question, how can you be killed by a BH if you can not gain visiblity until Padawan. I.E. Until you get aforcebar.

You do not get visibility until Padawan so you are right a BH can not get a misison on you this is not known from personal experience though just from what I read.

You won't be hunted by BHs while you are an Initiate, so you'll only have to worry about the cloning XP loss until you are a Padawan. I was just covering all the bases.
