Thread: Holocrons, Profession mastery and the Village

grinding force xp seems a little impossible, so I was hoping someone could enlighten me as to how the whole holocron, and profession mastery thing works. I know I got one free branch before I did the village, and I guess I did one of my professions already. If I get a holocron that says a profession ive mastered will I get to go back to the village and get another branch? Or if I master the profession if a holocron I buy will I get another branch? Is that how it works, also how many branches do we have to fill again I forget. Thanks

The holocron system is completely done with, you can't get anymore branches byfinishing a holocronprofession. Holocrons areonly good to jedi as a Forcestim. And you need todo 6 fulltrees to unlock.

In the old system you had to master 8 select professions to become a jedi. When you used holocrons it told you what professions to master. It would tell you four of them and then you had to guess the final 4 on your own. I have heard the free unlocks work like this. If you got 3/8 you would get 1 unlock, 4/8, 2 unlocks, 5/8, 3 unlocks, 6/8, 4 unlocks and 7/8, 5 unlocks. So if you got those professions pre10 then it would have given you the unlocks once the village was coded in and you talked to paemos. So there is no way you can get any more.

So holocrons still have a use today? Sorry for the noob question, but I thought they were just for decoration.

You DO NOT want the holocron profession back if you ever want to get Jedi. It was much harder. Just trust me.

Corrected it for you...
The holocrons were easire.. could be completed faster then a phase change now.. even more after CU.. i can master a combat prof in 1-2 days (MAX) Crafting proof in a week. (MAX) the ones there had the money would get jedi
