I remember on TC, these bases only spawned once an hour. So people camped these, and only 1 group got the mission done. It is still like this?

This mission was heavily bugged on TC, so i didnt learn much there

.

Was wondering if there is actually a method to getting the right shield gen remote for a certian base, I currently have 4 different(at least i think they are different) remotes in my inventory, i also have 4 wp's but when i go to all of them i get a message saying it is not the right frequency. Anyone got any solutions or tips that might help me complete this quest?

Look at the sheild generator remote it will have a greek aphabet name like "Pi" or "alpha" go to the base that corresponds. Look for the mouse droids around the base that have the correct greek alphabet name . the doids name will be ,for example, "beta " survellance droid. Hope this helps.

This quest is horsecrap!!!! what messed up sadistic basstard would create such a horrible thing!

I started this quest from Kappa on Ahazi server which is about 4800 m away from the village making it the 3rd closest to the village outside of psi (3000 m) and iota (3400 m). I go in do the base no problem (all solo) get the commander and run out. I dont stop to fight any sith, I get them stuck on walls and run away with the commander no problem. I dont stop at all except when agro'd by sith which take me only mere seconds to kill, and then im off again headed in a b-line to the village. The commander never runs from me and we maintain a constant pace (going as fast as his slow ass will go) and the stupid basstard croaks 2700m out from the village. I cant even begin to tell you how pissed off I am right now. I've spent DAYS trying to do this and keep encountering bug after bug (this had better be a goddamn bug) and I cant seem to get it done no matter HOW perfectly I do the stupid quest.

It's obvious now that this quest is only possible from psi and iota (and just barely at that) which cuts out oh say the50 other bloody goddamn bases that were designed into this quest and supposedly possible to complete from.

Yes you heard me right, I said 2.... Thats 2!T-W-O FREAKIN bases that this quest is MAYBE possible from, and it's not even feasable to do the goddamn mission because everyone on the whole farking server is there camping it like this was Everquest or something, waiting the5 hours for their turn to attempt it! Im sorry dev's but this is by far the most stupid and retarded of your blunders (and yes you've had many) Thanks for wasting the 20 hours I've spent trying to complete this quest which has obviously been hatched by a half-wit whonever even thought once to attempt it themselves and test it out to make sure it's feasable.Thanks for making this game so damn bloodyfun to play!

i have had the commander die twice on me. once i tried from a base that was 8000m away not knowing that the commander died after an hour. didn't even get close to finishing it. the second time was from a base about 5000m away and we got within about 1100m of the village when he died again. there should not be bases from which completing the mission is impossible.

lol ..I loved your post....quite similar to the ticket I submitted for this 'issue'. Same thing for me....he commits suicide after 58 mins (they can't even get the timing right)

Do have the waypoints for psi and iota? Please, I would love you forever. I, too, am sick and tired of trying to complete this mission. Plus, this supposed hotfix better come fast, since the phase ends in less than a week. And since there haven't been any notes on it, I'm willing to bet 100k credits it doesn't come before the phase ends.

No offense, but those two bases are camped enough as it is. why would i want more people there getting inbetween me and finnishing this god forsaken quest.

oh and I looked at doing it tonight, and there were agros the entire way between the base and the village. I dont mean agros like every so often ( Im used to seeing what its like, I've been trying to do this quest for ever), I mean unfreakin godly numbers of them everywhere. there's like 20x the number ofspawns!no going around them, no going through them, no going under them, no going over them, and sure as hell no way to speed past them.

W T F !

another sick sadistic twist from the dev team??? Is this the "hot fix" CSR Chris was talking about? Good Grief! I hate this game.

I bet they don't show you this crap during the ads on TV for SWG. I can't confirm this, as they don't show them over here in Europe...we are not important enough.
