I keep having static spawns of lvl 85 killing the commander. I can take 2 of these lvl 85s on at once but 5 is a little rediculous and they spawn right in front of the gate.

unlucky...I know I tried to help get a group back and the person walked right next to them (lvl 85 NS's) so we all died. The next day when I finished my mission I took the same path(it was the easiest way around thebig mountain) and they were not there anymore, you might want to wait a day and see if that helps or have a big group come and help you, then when you capture the commander have them shoot and kite as many as they can away a grenade would do wonders, I hope you can finish this.
