So even after you get jedi, u still need to keep the FS stuff from village?!

Yes you need to maintain at least 24 boxes. Just like for TKA you need 2 rows of bralwer or for doc you need the medic skills.

my template was gonna be 4400 bh, M carbineer, and jedi stuff, but now my temp will be 4400 bh, 4440 carbineer =/ with fs branches

Yep, gotta keep 6 trees at all times. You can drop anything you have in addition to that but you have to keep 6 trees. I think it sucks too because there are not 6 trees that are all overly helpful but... way it is.
