Here's a solution. I mentioned this in response to another post, but it seems like a pretty keen idea.

They should start another server that is ALL JEDI. BUT only allow people on it who DO NOT have JEDI on any other Server. Allow everyone two character slots, both Force Senstive, but only one full Jedi.

Your Jedi slot's character would start at the level of right after Melechae. You'd pick 6 FS trees at the Character generator on a Starship, you know the spot where you are on a starship looking at a terminal. Before you can click the terminal you have to pick six trees.

The village and everything else would all still be exactly the same.

You start with the level one box in all Jedi skill trees to reflect your training.

Obviously those who like the current system would have all the existing servers free from people whining about the miserable PRE-Jedi Grind. There they could play with other like minded pureist who think everyone that see the obvious pointless nature of the current system is just a whining baby who wants everything for free. You wouldn't have to worry about your servers ever becoming too populated with Jedi...

The Dev's would stop taking soooo much heat for their clearly lazy/inept verison of creating a Jedi on the main servers.

Everyone would be happy... Well at least 30% more would be happy than are now!

Thanks! I think it'd be great! Then wouldn't have to change a thing on the regular servers and all the like it as it is people would have things there way and the rest of the world could have it theres as well.

nice thinking. but is a bad idea. the reason they put jedi on the main servers is so peope can feel an aomplishment when they get it. heres a little skit of the fan fest or just 2 swg fans talking to eachother in real life: "hey bob! i just onlocked jedi!" "im already jedi i got it in 1 day. y didnt u just go on the all jedi server where all thenubs go if they arnt good enough to become jedi" another example: Ebay; jedi knight acount on the whimp server; current bid 2cents; buy now 3cents.

DO NOT PUT JEDIES TO SHAME! JEDI IS MADE FOR THE HARDWORKING VETERANS WHO DESERVE IT. NOT NUBS!

Haha, it's a cute idea and I wouldn't be against it actually. But, I am against it because it cheapens the class... And besides which, you'd get FAR MORE jedi showoffs on the main servers, of which we do NOT need! "Hey look I worked for jedi and didn't just get it for free on Wimp server!" *showoff, strut, force healing, backflip, taunt*

The punishment for showing off your jedi status needs to be heightened drasticly, like, once your visibility meter maxes out an imperial star destroyer sets a collision course. Yeah you heard me, huge spaceship crashing into theplanet justto kill one jedi, I'd do it if I was in command. "THERE'S ONE! Quick get 'em!" Emagin the chaos if everyone on the server was a jedi... *CRASH*

According to the Devs (like they can be believed at all anymore) Jedi is for anyone who wants it. It's not jsut for the powergamers/grinders. Don't shoot me I am just regurgitating the lies they made on their website and on Stratics.

You're joking right? Have you read the elitest bastages on these forums? Please the people that worked hard for... mmm.. Wait ok I know there are some really great Jedi players out there. Ok yes they are by far a small small small majority. That said the meatbags who come on the forums are soooo elitest they think no one but them deserves Jedi because they could afford to Grind out all the exp while others couldn't.

These same power-gamers who were the first to get Jedi now want to LIMIT the # of Jedi on the live servers so that THEY WILL BE SPECIAL. Oh they are special alright!

So this would give them the regular servers to lord it over everyone, like they do already on here. And would give the people who have better things to do then eek out 110,000,000 experience a week a little of what they came to SWG in the first place for.

It hurts no one.

don't like it. i'm liking the FS grind. i mean it can get boring sometimes. but its still an experience. i'd hate to be on a server where everyone is a jedi. being a jedi is something great. not common. so yeah. disagreed.

i jedi mind tricked 2 thugs to give me all of their credits and jump off a cliff.
