Do i absolutely have to do the two warren badges and nyms badge? i am only cl 25 and im one step away from glowing. i was wondering if i can just do lots of poi's or substitute and other badges in for nyms and the warren. i have done the imperial theme park and jabbas, but im not good enough yet for nyms or the warren. any suggestions? thx.

You might as well take your time and levelyour CL to 80 anyhow, as you won't be able to defeat the sith ambush or any of the village combat quests without it.

Yes, exactly what Kado said. It wont matter if you get glowy, you wont be able to do much beyond that, unless you are constantly in groups. Sith will have you for lunch at CL25. Not to mention, the Warren is required unless you do Corvette missions, which are harder than the Warren.

Not true, just group for the sith if you are below CL 80. I am not, and probably will never be, CL 80, because I'm a hybrid of combat and non-combat, stuck at CL 56, and I can still get the village quests done, just have to be smart about it and for most of the combat quest be grouped with a CL 80. Although, if you are new to the game, I do suggest you go out there and experience most of the content before attempting to become jedi, cause you won't have much of a chance after you get padawan.
As for the posters original question, if you have RotW, then there are several new Content Badges that you can do, most of the Kashyyyk quest badges are considered content, as well as all of the new beginner player quests in Mos Eisley (talk to the mayor in the guild hall by the starport to get started).

you have to solo a level 278 dark jedi master if you don't do the warren

I thought Warren was the name of the CL278 Dark Jedi Master...hmm

Unless you plan to always group for combat related village quests which can be a hassle and time consuming, you need to be cl80. Even then, success is not guaranteed and will most likelyrequire the help of a friend or two.
I was able to solo the phase I combat prowess quest which requires fighting up to 3 cl77+sith (sometimes all at once)with a cl80master fencer/tk withplenty offood/drink buffs, stim d's and ruby bliel.
I've also read that some ppl have been able to substitute warren content badges with Necrosis and Katarn.
Katarn isn't that bad but Necrois a bad mother f....
