No, you're not criticising, you're just being contrary, and passing along bogus information (which is probably why you can't get anybody competent to let you join theirNecrosishunting group)
listen, i've been playing this game for almost 2 years so i'm not looking for any easy way to become a jedi. sorry to spoil your theory, but i already have beaten the necrosis more than once and i have nearly every badge in this game. it is one of the toughest npc's in the game. sure a small group with a smuggler can go in and root him the whole time and blast away. any noob can do that.
i'm not saying that the necrosis is impossible, but it is much more difficult than many other quests.I was merely pointing out to others that read this that before they go try to kill a 65k Health, level 96necrosis who area attacks for 1k per hit, that there is much easier ways to get content badges.
The mos eisley badges i was referring to are quests you get from the mayor located in the guild hall and can be done soloin 30 minutes by a CL 2 player w/ only novice skills. The arena badge is way easier than the necrosis badge and is not bugged. This is not "bogus" information.
As a CL 80 player you can walk through the warren without firing a shot and be done in 45 minutes. I don't see how this compares at all to the difficulity of the necrosis. Not to mention that just to get to the necrosis, you have to burst run through a maze of 18k health unsoris (this assuming someone in your group has the mission already or else you'll have to go through a long series of quests just to get to the necrosis mission).
other badges leading to glowy as you asked are any of the badges you get for killing elite mobs like the ancient krayt, gorax, acklay, etc. these are all well documented already.
so sit back and relax. dont' be so defensive.

Actually, the Kashyyyk Arena quest IS bugged, that's why the notes on Publish 19 for TC says that they have fixed that bug, and the Arena quest should be working properly now (for TC, when publish 19 goes live, that's when it should work for the rest of us).

as with many quests, some people have experienced problems. this does not mean that the quest is bugged for everyone (i just completed this quest a few days ago without a problem.) If you are experiencing a problem with the guard letting you in the arena, you simply need to group wth someone else who has the mission and you can complete the arena quest without a problem.

Actually, I haven't attempted the arena quest yet, I'm just stating what the notes for Publish 19 said. And if for some reason someone is not able to get in on their own, then that IS a bug, they shouldn't have to group with someone else who has the mission. Obviously, if they are patching this mission in Publish 19, then it is a common bug that could happen to anyone, not just a person here or there, so I'd say you were lucky that you completed it, cause seems to me this could have just as easitly have happened to you.

these are the same people who put in a hotfix for candles when there are tons of real bugs to deal with in this game.Further there are a million bugged FS quests affecting a large number of people that they will not fix. So, to me at least,the fact that they are putting in a fix for this tells me nothing about the severity or the amount of people affected by it.
Technically, I agree with you that it is bugged for some people. I was stating that there is a workaround for this quest. there are many quests that aretotally bugged andhave no way of completing them. just take a look at the front pageof this forum or the quests and missions forum.
heh good to know but even the warren iseasier than just getting to the lab to fight the necrosis. not to mention that the mos eisley quests, and other easy kashyyyk quests like the arena will also get you glowy and are much easier.
not a criticism at all, just pointing out an easier way
