A. I have killed so many gentle loving bols that it borders on genocide. Yet I am a few boxes short of unlocking, so it doesn't matter?

B. Even if I took 10 days vacation and did nothing but grind to finish the boxes, it wouldn't matter anyway because the old man no longer comes?

C. I have busted my butt doing the damn village, to unlock jedi, mostly to get a 2nd toon, and I will no longer be able to get a 2nd toon w/o buying another copy

of this rapidly turning to crap game?

D. The +20 weaps exp suit I bought for my eventual alt is mostly going to be worthless because why will anyone buy new weaps if the IS NO DECAY?

E. The end game profession of this game, Jedi, will now be accessible to all from the get-go?

F. All the progress I have made in FS, all the mind-numbing bol slayings, the endless long rides to the village, will not get me any kind of bonus points when this change comes? I get no credit towards Jedi? I get no grandfather clause on getting a 2nd toon?

G. If all the above are true, and I have never said this before, other than in an earlier post on the same subject, I will be done. I started playing 6 days into this game

and I have stuck with this jalopy through thick and thin. I was a CH when they first nerfed CH to hell. I stuck with this game when they did the CU. I didn't quit when they changed combat xp to 30-1 because of stupid grenade tossing morons. I have played this game longer than probably 98% of the players in game.

But to totally change the game, again, without giving us any warning or asking us what we thought, is probably the final straw. Tiggs, Torres, et al, you say that you have decided on this change because of feedback from players. What players are these? Show me where the masses have begged for a new, dumbed down, less diverse game. Show me where people have begged you to get rid of those pesky CH's and BE's, I know your decision is very popular in the CH forum right now, hell, your correspondant quit right away, and cancelled his account. How many thousands of hardcore players have asked that you turn this game into a first-person shooter?

You claim that everything you do is in response to massive demand from us, you consumers. But in truth, you really have no idea what your customers want, you certainly don't ask us. And if we complain about something, you simply ignore us and try to set up another interview with a gaming magazine to tell them how many subscriptions you have and how you are gonna push out another exciting expansion that we can pay 30 bucks for. In a way, you all remind me of politicians who say they know how the little man feels while someone shines their shoes and drives them to work. You DON'T know, and what's worse, I don't think you care.

If these changes go through, I am done with this game forever, and will never buy a game that SOE puts out again. There are tons of games out there for me to play, both online and off.

Think about what you are doing, please, READ the forums. You are going to kill this game. It survived the CU, but I don't think it will make it through this, I really don't. And honestly, it will be like saying goodbye to an old friend. But sometimes you gotta move on.

Not much to really flame you for, or even troll for that matter. I think your views are shared by a lot of people. I am 6 caps from the second old man visit. If the second visit is disabled, heard that in a few threads now, I know I will be done. I spent way too much time grinding for Jedi. I know I didn't have to do it but its something I wanted and I worked for. I never complained about the grind once. I followed SOE's Jedi path without question. Now one day all my time means nothing. I can't justify grinding FS XP, going through the phases, and then one day starting a Force Sensitive character with someone who just bought the game yesterday. I won't do that.

Yep...I think it's time to finally leave this game. I've been here for two years and I've been putting up with change after change. Basically I'm spinning my wheels and getting nowhere. They make things harder to do and then they completely change the game so that all your hard work you did before was a complete waste of time. So now with the game revamp, I'm back at square one...I'll grind for another year...they'll make another major change...

Funny but as of late I've been very busy at work so I haven't had much game time. That is why I didn't preorder the latest expansion. Maybe that is a sign. Obviously I am going to hold off on that until I see this CU2, and everything hinges on the second old man visit for me.
