Possible solution to prevent the waste of the most valuable thing in the world. Our time.

I know tons of suggestions will come to everyone's mind when they think about something to fix this thing about the FS unlockers and the removal of the Village quests.

Here I throw in my own idea, what about keeping FS system until everyone who has done at least one quest or filled one tree finishes their journey to Elder? (this can be decided by mod's eyes)I mean, cut the income of new glowies and let the ones who are already working on it finishthe questas whatever classes they become to get the Elder title and the rewards.

absolutely not because there is know way to keep track of that many players, plus the noobs who just buy this game this week will want the same treatment and thats another week theyd have to add on.

Classic example of the "if it effects me i dont want it to happen until im done" mentality

This solution is not intended for the n00bs that buy the game and want to get elder jedi in no time, it's intended for those like me that have filled 6 or more FS trees and are ready to unlock next fase, it's just that I considered the chance of giving the glowies-before-cu2 to be able to finish the village questonce they started it (because they all can be considered in the middle of something that they couldn't finish for dev reasons). I could have said let us november-unlocker the key and leave the rest, I think it's fair if everyone in the quest is allowed to continueand finish itto make them worth having their rewards.

This is a ecelent idia keep the village open untill we all finish it, to prevent new pples doing the village simply turn the old man off done bam.... simple fix that will keep a large precent of fs people like me happy!

its an honorable idea, and might work if you only extended it until the end of november...as you have it posted, this would last until april.

All well and good except...and this has already started being posted...what about those who, "UNLOCK IN DESEMBER OH NOOOO!" theyll want that treatment too, so ok you give it to em...whats 2 months...then what about JANUARY?! see my point? They can't do this for you guys or else they have to do it for everybody. They have no control over when you decided to start the path to jedi.

this is an excellent idea. those people who's first unlock was this phase will be able to finish the village at the current xp rate/quest unlock rate. upon completion, they will recieve the vet jedi rewards.

except what are you going to tell alllll the new players who buy the game, this thing already has 2 pages of preview on gamespot and they make it sound like the best thing to ever happen to an MMO

Trust me people are going to be coming BACK, and if they don't get the special treatment you got, theyll whine too and well have to start over...shucks, sorry you cant turn blue like i can but it just does not make that much of a diff. to the game as a whole

Sorry, butI think we already see your point.

Seriously now.

1. The new players won't miss the things that they read, because this would only limit the income of new elders, they would still be able to become jedi just as they were told. No lies there.

2. People that are coming back WEREN'T HERE, we are the ones that are making the efforts to become REAL jedi.

3. The blue thing is something that tells you how much effort you put into becoming that prof. I don't mind if we are weak like the rest, but at least give us something that will prove that we weren't an "one-click easy and wow'd" profession, took us time (most important), effort and fun.

AGAIN, doing this would not change ANYTHING about the incomers, if they hate the delay of the Village's removal as a reward to veterans, then they gotta hate other jedis being "blue-veteran" whatever you want to call it, so the way you show it, the whole "blue thingy" would be wrong, again, it's much more than that simple thing.
