Thread: Force Sensitive characters receive no compensation in CU2

Since SOE decided to drop this little nugget on us until AFTER ToOW went live, and then decided to not even give two weeks' notice (Tiggs has confirmed that the changes are expected to go live on November 15th) there is no way I can complete my FS grind in time unless I quit my job and pick up a methamphetamine habit.
The only people who will receive any tangible rewards for previous efforts in CU2 are people who have already unlocked their Jedi and their second character slot. By the way, nonew second character slots for ANYONE, EVER.
I would like to thank SOE development for wasting all of the time it took me to grind over 4 million Force Sensitive experience for absolutely no reason. I would have been done in three weeks, but now that just isn't going to happen. Luckily I will have being a "second class citizen" to look forward to in the upcoming combat upgrade.

Hopefully, Hopefully, more will be revealed about people in OUR boat...
I am 1 tree away from Unlocking Jedi... and I already have the FS XP already...
I resubscribed today b/c I was craving some SW, and then I come to see this crappy news...

same here, i have to do is do my vehichle quest or grind out one combat prowless tree, hmm that bites if i get nothing at least we could get a few quest closer to actual padawan for having the 5 full trees

Our voices must be hearD!!!!!! FS is getting the biggest screw job!!!! It is unreal the time and effort we have put in with this totally boring BS! and now we are getting completely hosed, we will just be like any noob 12 yr old who shows up and starts doing jedi from day 1!!!! this is OUTRAGEOUS!!!! All current FS characters who have completed at least one village quest/phase should be able to continue the village and earn the special "elder" rewards current jedi get!!!! This is the one truth, it is the way it should be! Close the village to every jedi, and all non FS, but current FS will have access to finish up the hard way(the right way) and get their special jedi status rewarding them for their effort and devotion, and not spitting on them as SOE plans to do now!!!
having said all this, make sure the current system works(i heard the old man was bugged) until the launch date for RIP(or game enhancement whatever it is); so that people who have a chance at it can make, like myself and others I know, we deserve it! Don't steal the hours of our lives we spent grinding this!!!! Don't be total scum!
p.s. give away flawless pearls for ADKs through an NPC of some sort, and give CHs 1 million credits for all their now useless pets...also using any item made useless by these new updates in the Chu Gon Dar cube should give u a choice of an uber item to make!...listen Devs for the love of man!!! give us some real rewards that reflect the hours and money we've devoted to ur game,, next time u buy a nice dinner remember we paid for that! the least u can do is give us multiple really great rewards!!!
Spread the Word guys! copy and paste and whatever, this is the way we should be treated in this transition!!! FS people are people too! respect us!!!

OK let me just say this,
I have been content to do the FSgrind it wasn't the best aspect about becoming a jedi but I knew to get to Jedi I had to do it... so for the last 3 phases ( I got access to the Village in Phase I this last cycle) I have been grinding to get exp for all the unlocks.
I am currently
Combat Prowess 3/0/4/4
reflex 0/0/0/0
So by the time Phase IV comes I was ready to unlock and purchase that tree...
What you are telling me now is that after doing all this 30/1 grinding ( TKM/MS/MB )... and it wasn't pretty... I have done it all for nothing.
I get no rewards because I am not able to do Phases any faster than the game allows me to do them, I haven't done what it takes to get a the recognition for my efforts so far... basically...
I just did all that for absolutely nothing... it got me nothing to this point and it will get me no where after this game revamp and all because I couldn't grind fast enough and make the phases change fast enough.
I also have one more thought on this.... why do Jedi get special recognition? what about the guys who didn't want to become a jedi who have played since day 1 of the game. What do they get oh yea a vet reward, while Jedi get a cloak and a special crystal ... I am not saying that many don't deserve it after see what they have had to endure as far as nerfs to their profession already but... what about the other players? And you are giving the reward to anyone with a single box in jedi? wow the price of jedi on Ebay just went up because if someone buys a jedi with just one box they will be better off than keeping what they have and being second tier jedi after the changes.
I am not saying this change is bad.. but if someone is already seriously working the FSgrind and is halfway or more through unlocking all the branches they deserve more than.. you are a jedi and oh by the way these other jedi are better than you because they did it before this change.

It was like this with the last change.
Pre CU1 Jedi had better tuned crystals as Premiums and Flawless still dropped, which gave them a massive edge over Post CU1 Jedi (Pre CU1 Sabers were 650dps?, Post CU1 Sabers 350-450dps, mine was personally 425dps after spending approx 40 million on pearls).
Now its happening again, Pre CU2 Jedi will have a unique colour crystal with a "slight" dmg increase, fancy robes, Elder title and a blue glowy effect (which lets face it isnt that great really), and Post CU2 Jedi get nothing.
Unfortunately I can't see anything changing for you guys, yea you got screwed, but then so did I and many others compared to the Pre CU1 Jedi.

well no food for me cause if the old mans second visits buged im in the scoobie doo too seein how i am reflexes 4440 combat prowless 0014 & i have the luck tree, but i have the xp in reflexes to master it i wont get the chance since katrina screwed me outta that, alas an elder just am i. to do i kno not, do i kep grindin out xp thats gonna be useless soon anyway do i wait to take the profession only to go against a sith with new robes & saber crystals info on everythin much needed it is. 2 years i been playin the only time i missed out on was the hurricaine, would be mighty nice to see something other than a title but then the creatures will have loot too so maybe itll work out or will the loot be the hides?
ima stick with it tho i might stop grinding unless all my xp converts or something

ok... so i haven't completely gotten all the information on this change yet... but....
basically the 3+ weeks i have been waiting for the glowy "bug" to be fixed to get on my way with the tedious (but still semi-worthwhile) task of grinding out a jedi has been spent all in naught?
I cannot even begin to describe how angry i am! if this "bug" hadn't been put into effect three weeks ago, and i'd have unlocked my jedi back when i was still playing during publish 2, i could be elligible for this absurd elder jedi reward....
and, not to even mention that the devs FLAT OUT LIED TO US!!!!
It was an aknowledged bug that a fix was being worked on....
What in the name of qui gon's lightsaber do i get for all my time/money/anguish/patience spent waiting for my jedi slot to be unbugged? now, my meticulous planning, and arduous waiting, and dealing with lies from the devs have gotten me absolutely nowhere. does it really mean that i am now back at square one... back to a couple years ago when i started playing.... absolutely nothing to show for it! I DEMAND RETRIBUTION! SOE listen. I DEMAND retribution for this SLAP IN THE FACE!!!!
