Will Jedi receive an extra character slot?

Yes

Does that mean if you choose Jedi in the new system that you will still get a 2nd slot?

or

Does that mean those who already have a 2nd slot, will get to keep their Jedi

As I'm currently busting a gut to get the 2nd slot now, before November 15th. I've got 56 hours of craftingvehicles left to go! Which means that if we do get a 2nd slot in the new system, then I may as well just enjoy the game and professions as isnow, and stop wasting time grindin, andtrying to unlock the 2nd slot after the Padawan Trials

Because I'm having a hard time accepting that they will just give us a 2nd character slot, on the basis that we can respec into Jedi. Unless its another reward for all this crappy change!

No news is bad news, going by SOEs track record.

I suspect that Trader/Enteratiner will end up being worse off, and they're not saying anything, as people will quit because of it.

I'm going to quit when the sub runs out, and return if the revamps are worthwhile, unless knowledge of the revamps come before subs run out, and I like it, but I'm not going into day 1 of the new month, then the revamps get announced, and my char is shafted.

Only people with a second slot before the NGE goes live, get that second slot. If you haven't unlocked in 12 days you are screwed.

You have to have your unlock BEFORE the NGE goes into effect. So get grinding. I have another thread going where you can post your in game name and find other people in your same situation in my other thread.
