There is a difference in "Earning" your Jedi by completing the bug filled quests laid out in front oy you, grinding the necessary expand completingit, and the guy who just starts and is considered "Equal" to you now.

No, one day you'll be a force sensitive who can work his way up to eventually become a watered down version of what jedi used to be, while around you will be people who have an extra toon and special jedi advantages over you, and the only real difference between you and them will be that they started their pre-NGE jedi grind before you did.

Having Jedi handed to you is like getting handed a fake 1,000 dollar bill. It means nothing, has no value, and can't compete with real 1,000 dollar bills.
