Uhm... I have been training my xp, and I am a CL80. In fact, the points have helped my template. I guess it depends on the temp.

Depending on your template, you can fill all FS boxes and still keep your CL 80 and your two master elites. I did as Master Doc/Master Rifles. Once jedi starts though, I have to decide which eliteto drop first.

Very true. Should you get the Novice boxes or bank all of them?

Well my temp is Master Pistols and Master BH with Combat Medic 3000. One of my 6 trees I have completely trained in, along with Novive boxes in Combat Prowess and Reflexes.

If I was to train in anymore FS skills I would first lose my healing ability in combat medic and then further would lose the ability to hunt jedi.

Therefore, posters are correct in saying that you can train in FS depending on your template and still be CL80.

I guess my original post should have said train in al FS skills you can without going under CL80 as their are many advantages to staying CL80.

The most important thing to do before you do the village is plan your FS template. Know what branch you want to unlock with each phase. Know eactly how much FS XP you need to bank. Also, once you know what branches you are going to do, get the novice boxes for those trees.

Bank your FS Xp rather than immediately training. You will stay level 80 and get all the benefits. Once you have banked your Xp then do a big train of all the 6 unlocks. Seen many posts where peeps are training as they collect FS Xp. Maybe I am wrong but I believe its better to stay level 80 than drop regular skills for FS skills until you are finished banking all FS Xp.

That is exactly what I'm doing. I figure it will be easier to get invited to groups and easier to handle mobs as a CL80. By the way, after you complete all of your unlocks and fill all of your fs branches; what CL do you usually retain? My temp. is in my sig. I plan on holding onto TKM for as long as I can for the TIA. I plan on dropping Doc and going Medic x2xx for bacta toss. I also want to hold onto Master Swordsman for as long as I can but I will drop it if I need the skill points.

This is exactly right. More so than anything else when preparing for the village. I actually went through the phases and wrote down what I wanted and what phases I could get them. I've been around this board for awhile and have seen to many posts about people putting xp into the wrong category (combat,reflexes,senses...). Or, not planning their phases out so they have to wait an additional phase to unlock. The most important thing is to read about the village and phases so you are prepared.

Depending on your template you can train them and still maintain level 80. In my case once I become Jedi, I would be able to train one full branch of jedi even without dropping my double elite.

But it's still good advice to wait to train. Especially if it would cost you your CL. You want to maintain level 80 for as long as possible if nothing else for the experience numbers you recieve per kill.

Just to clarify, you are recommending to bank enough FSXP to train all 6 FSbranches you want at the same time?
