Can we also get an update on the bug fix status for the engineer quest?

Problem:

when the satellite tracking kit is complete the "loot kit" disappears and the absence of the kit revokes the completed state of the first task "Find a gadget specialist"

Symptomatic relief:

It is possilble to engineer the completed state by purchasing another kit though, which is how I discovered what the problem was... Trouble is th gadget specialist is only willing to talk if you have not completed the mission and gotten your reward. If you complete the mission and dont have the spare satellite loot kit then yo are permanently bugged.

In my case I worked out what was going on after I completed the quest...
