Yet another 'critical' jedi lightsaber kit. yay for mostly worthless.
I presume it just gives you amazing success every time? Anyone confirm?
This time it at least says critical experimentation rather then assembly

i haven't used mine yet, but if it gives only amazing successes on experiment, it should be a very useful item

it negates the experimentation cap making MUCH meaner sabers far from worthless

How did you claimed this reward ? Imean i can't find any npc related to phase 3 craft quest . Is it just appear in your inventory if you are a winner on one of the categories ?

no, it shouldn't. Since its a reward for force experimentation, its presumed you are going to get all 4 boxes of the force experimentation. At which point you can get a double amazing success at least 1 in 9 times (i know, i have it and have been testing it a lot). So basically it saves you the time of making 9 sabers.
worst reward ever.
oh wait no, second worst reward next to the other jedi toolkit.
Unless it gives like 9% per experiment or something. Someone please try it out and let us know if it does anything useful.

Are you saying this because you actually tried it? Or did you just read this someplace?
also, it just shows up in your inventory if you won

got the 5 use one just bit the bullet and used it earlier
combine = great
base 53 fc :/
have some sabers that are 52 not sure whether that was from an amazing assembly as all my resources are pretty much top notch
I ate pyollian cake and took bespin port on each experiment
amazing,amazing,amazing,amazing,amazing,amazing
at this point fc was at 49 from a base of 53 with 6 points spent (and it normally takes a 7/3 split to get it to 49)
on the examine of the toolthe "guaranteed 5 crit successes" had now disappeared and I put the rest into efficiency also but fc never went any lower although the experimental efficiency rose to 92% whereas the best I've got previously was about 72.

I've never been a crafter so am no expert on this and am currently waiting for my bespin portto clear to try another round if I can first figure out how I gotthe base of 52 fc on assemble then will see if it still helps produce amazings.
I have force crafting experimentation also so it could be the combination of this and the tool as I usually get good runs of amazings when making saber tools anyway but nothing like this run on sabers before.

Unfortunately that isn't too much info for crafters.
Great success' add 7 points to the experiment. So, if you start at 15%, get 1 great, its going to be 22%.
Amazing's add 7points. So starting at 15% and hitting an amazing will give you 23%.
There is no point to do it one point at a time. What you should do, is put all your points into one line, hit the amazing, then all your points into another line, hit the amazing. The outcome is per line of experimentation, not per point. So if you put 7 points into one line and get an amazing, all 7 points are amazing.
I am presuming that if you making a saber without this tool, and you get lucky and hit a double amazing success (half your points in each line), that it would come out the same as when you use this tool. Just wanted to verify it.

The 'worst reward ever' would be what me and Ai-Di got...
absolutely nothing.
Which is what you get if you don't win one of the categories for the phase.
