Thread: My Quest on Phase 4 for 2 Pirates

And off day doing the phase 4 quest. Something for your amusement
Alright, here is how I started off yesterday. I needed 2 pirates. Just two pirates, was all I needed.
Ok get buffed at cornet because stats are 2400 – 2500 from doctor that I know. Then hop to Datoonie to get mind buffed to 1+K. Then I’m off. Minus the fee of 13K for the HAM buff and 5K for the mind buff.
I arrive at Dithmor Science Outpost. Double-check equipment. Armor is on. Last time I went in without the leggings; got slaughtered. Vibro Knuckler in my right hand as usual. Blood pressure (no not my characters mine, sometimes I get nervous fighting thugs. I hate thugs. 80% or close to 80% armor everything except light saber).
I arrived at the site and obtained group. I’m now waiting for all hadies to break loose. Their here sooner expected. I engage in battle with the nagging feeling that I have forgotten something important.
I start to engage an outlaw, and start watching my mind go down a little. Forgot to drink the brandy, oops…
Drink brandy while in battle. No worries, Outlaw is down for the count. I engage another, and another their down for the count too. I engage a Sith Pirate, finally…. Wait.. Someone shooting at me. It’s a thug., and she’s shooting at me. I start watching my health go down meanwhile counting my blessings it not my mind. But it might as well be because now I have to heal myself being that everyone including the doctors are engaged in battle. Good thing I’m master medic or I’d be toast. Now the situation is getting desperate. I know help will not arrive in time. So what do I do, a repeated /unarmedknockdown2 and pray.
Well it worked it looks like the pirate and I for some reason went down for the count together. As I lay there incapacitated I’m watching the pirate try to stand up to finish his handy work (probably to deal a deathblow), only he falls back down. He does it over, and over again. By this time I’m baling out laughing. It’s funny when your dead. You can see everything going on around you, Watching other people battle, stepping over your corpse, even dying. Oh what happened to the pirate? I got up first unlucky for him and proceeded to beat the snoot out of him. I see the display stating that I attribute towards my quest towards the village for Sith Pirate. I go to meditate afterwards, "You cannot meditate while running.". Not this crap again?!?!
I have one more to go. I start helping other people and then when caught alone begin to hear the music theme of battle. Someone is shooting at me again. It’s another outlaw I start beating him up and another outlaw appears, then another… darn I’m argoed… Three outlaws, two trying to beat the pulp out of me and one shooting at me nipping at my heals. I need to think of something fast, my HAM is drooping rapidly expecially my mind. I go to drink more brandy,
"You are too full to drink that".
Figures... Just as bad as the meditating message.I got one, bust still two more. Someone comes to help, but not in time for me to become incapacitated again; but wait… ./forceofwill saves the day. I get up, dust myself off, and start beating on the one that I was working on before. Ok he is down, and I’m so lucky.
I see another pirate, just one more only he is surrounded by outlaws. I don’t care at this point. I go to work on him, almost there, any time now. Unfortunately this time I wasn’t paying to much attention on my HAM. I was so focused on the pirate that I didn’t notice the thug behind me. I go down for the count but taking the pirate with me. Although, this time /forceofwill doesn’t save me. Of course that means I’m dead. Not just me. Others are dead too. Now I’m just waiting for a rez. 10 mins go by, no rez, 15 mins go by no rez; and then I see the group chat. “Doctor is here but no rez pack”. Guess it’s time to clone.
I arrive at the Science Outpost. Cloning is good, decay is bad. Armor and everything else is close to 63% decay. All in a good nights work. I got my pirate and accomplished my goal, but died again. Can’t have everything can you?
Life was much simpler when I was master scout.

The real challenge now is to get back in there and actually train the branch lol......

Thanks, now If I can onlly survive the other phases I think I will be ok.

Funny you should mention that. I actually went back to try to train the branch and it was argo city. Everytime I spoke to the NPC and went to click on the block I needed. I got the message "You cannot converse while fighting". Outlaws would then appear out of nowhere. I think putting the NPC's on the inside while making some fo the sith spawn on the inside as well was probably some developers idea of a sick joke. Then again, I guess they wanted to make it that much more of a challenge.
